Makuru
It means “coming true”. Roots and textures shaped by hand: paper pulp, plant fibre and gathered wood merge into a refuge of calm.
Inspired by ancestral vessels and traditional handwoven craft, the Makuru vessel is a sculptural piece celebrating the union of the earth's elements. Its structure stands out for a spherical papier-mâché base with a stone-like finish, organically fused with a neck woven in exposed natural fibre.
The soul of the design lies in its central detail: a rustic branch, gathered and hand-tied with natural cord, acting as a visual bridge between textures. A piece with a strong totemic, mystical charge — ideal for bringing character, warmth and a contemporary ethnic air to any space.
