Terms of sale
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This document is under review: the details marked as pending will be filled in before the shop opens.
Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the sale of pieces through this website between [to be completed], tax number [to be completed], address [to be completed], email [to be completed], and the person placing the order. By ticking the acceptance box before paying you declare that you have read and accepted these terms.
We sell to adults with the legal capacity to enter into a contract. We store the version of the terms you accepted together with your order, and you may ask us for a copy at any time.
Handmade pieces
Every piece is made by hand, one at a time, to order. That means your piece will be like the one in the photographs, but not identical: colour, texture and dimensions may vary slightly. This variation is part of handmade work and is not considered a defect.
The dimensions given are approximate. If you need a piece with particular dimensions or colours, write to us before buying: that is a bespoke commission and its terms are agreed in writing.
Prices, taxes and shipping
All prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes. Shipping costs are calculated by destination and shown separately in the cart, before payment. The total you see before confirming is the final amount charged.
The price in force when the order is placed applies. For shipments outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees in the destination country are payable by the buyer.
How the order is completed
You add pieces to the cart, choose the destination country, review the total and pay. The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed; from that moment you receive an email with the order summary and its reference. If payment is not completed, there is no order.
The contract may be concluded in Spanish, English or German, depending on the language you browse in. If an order cannot be fulfilled (for example an obvious pricing error, or the piece cannot be made), we will tell you straight away and refund the full amount.
Payment methods
Payment is made by card and the available digital wallets, through Stripe. Your card details are entered directly in Stripe's encrypted form: we neither see nor store them. The charge is made when the order is confirmed.
Making and delivery times
Because each piece is made to order, the timeline has two parts: the making time shown on the piece page and in the cart, and the transit time for your destination. The estimated total is shown before payment.
These are good-faith estimates, not guaranteed dates. If anything is delayed we will tell you and you may either wait or cancel with a full refund. In any case delivery takes place within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the order unless we expressly agree another period with you.
We ship by tracked carrier to the address you give us. Please check it is correct: reshipping because of a wrong address or repeated failed delivery may incur an extra cost.
Right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you buy as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the piece, without giving any reason and without penalty. This right applies to every catalogue piece, even though they are made to order.
To exercise it, simply tell us before the deadline expires, by writing to [to be completed] or the number [to be completed]. You may use this wording: "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the piece [name], order [reference], received on [date]. Name, address and date."
You must return the piece within a maximum of 14 days from telling us, well packed and in the same condition in which you received it. The direct cost of returning it is yours. We recommend a tracked shipment and reusing the original packaging, since you are liable for any damage resulting from handling beyond what is needed to inspect the piece.
We will refund everything you paid, including standard shipping costs, within a maximum of 14 days from receiving the piece or proof of its return, using the same payment method you used.
One exception only: genuinely bespoke commissions, that is pieces made to specifications you give us (particular dimensions, colours, motifs or wording). In those cases the right of withdrawal does not apply, under article 103.c of the Spanish consumer protection act, and we will tell you so in writing before accepting the commission.
Guarantee and damaged pieces
Pieces carry the statutory guarantee of conformity for three years from delivery. If a piece arrives damaged or does not match what you bought, write to us with photographs as soon as you notice and we will put it right: repair, remake, price reduction or refund, as appropriate and at no cost to you.
Keep the packaging until you have checked the piece; it helps us claim from the carrier. Please note that papier-mâché is a delicate material: wear from use, excessive damp or knocks after delivery are not covered.
Cancelling before shipment
If you change your mind while the piece is still being made, write to us as soon as you can: if work has not started, we cancel the order and refund the full amount with no further formality.
Customer service and complaints
Write to [to be completed] or call [to be completed], quoting your order reference. We answer as soon as we can, usually within two working days.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you may turn to the Spanish municipal consumer information offices or the consumer arbitration system. The European online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025; the European Commission publishes the list of alternative dispute resolution bodies at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Nothing written here limits the rights consumer legislation grants you, nor those of your country of residence where they are more favourable.
